Ingredients

  • 1/2 Kg Spinach (washed), finely chopped
  • 2 Potatoes (peeled and chopped), boiled
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 2 medium-size tomato
  • 2 medium-size onion
  • 2-3 red chilies
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 4-5 garlic finely chopped
  • Salt as per taste

Method

  • Heat the oil in a pan and add cumin and Red Chillies.
  • When they begin to darken, add the garlic, and onion, till light brown.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and add a pinch of salt, cook until tomato become soft.
  • Keeping the heat on high, add the chopped spinach and potato and salt and mix well.
  • Continue to cook over high heat till the spinach is tender and excess water has dried.
